5 months agoI was slightly disappointed with my meal from this restaurant. I think I was expecting it to be better than I should have. The service was ok. There was no wait and the food didn't take long. The quality of food wasn't worth the price. I would still go there again but wouldn't order the same food for sure.

5 months agoThis place is a real gem. Today was my first time and I can’t wait to go back! Been serving regulars and travelers since 1958. Amazing food, great service and it looks like it’s right out of a movie.

6 months agoThey do breakfast great. Simple classic eggs, bacon etc., pancakes, waffles, omelets, biscuits & gravy & coffee. SPECIAL NOTE: They only have blueberry pancakes on Monday & Tuesday. My wife really liked the few bites I let her have.

11 months agoGreat Diner to eat at. Fair prices, great service and an excellant dessert menu. You can get anything on the menu from open to ckose. From breakfast to dinner. Highly recomend this wonderful treasure!!

2 years agoStopped by on the way to Roanoke VA and enjoyed a late lunch. A genuine old fashion diner cafe with bar stools covered with red vinyl at the counter. Original red checkerboard style floor tiles. Home cooked country style hot meals included liver and onions, roast beef served over sliced white bread with lots of gravy. The keylime pie topped with merangue was delicious. Chatted with several satisfied customers...that seemed like local folks that already knew each other.

3 years agoThis place hasn't changed in the last 25yrs and I love it!!! I came many times when I was little. It is so clean. This was the best chicken sandwich I've had in forever. It was so hot and crispy. The service was top notch. I was not disappointed. This was my daughter's first time and we had a great experience. They made her pancake Minnie mouse shaped.

3 years agoStopped in for breakfast this morning after craving biscuits and sausage gravy. Staff were very informative and friendly, even assisted in getting me a slice of my favorite pie to-go alongside our meals. Even after a 30 minute drive home the food was delicious. New to the area, and this will definitely become a breakfast and brunch favorite easily. Can't wait to bring the kids for milkshakes!

5 years agoMy wife and I stopped here earlier this afternoon for lunch… We made a great choice! Our food was fresh, very tasty, and plentiful! Thank you for taking such good care of us Kathy! And thank you Kat for the awesome lunch!
